Sam has over 15 years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative northern research.
She spent a decade doing scientific fieldwork throughout the Yukon and northern Canada. More recently, her focused has shifted towards qualitative research, bridging her scientific training with local contexts.
Writing and Editing
Sam has over 15 years of experience in scientific writing and editing. She has contributed to multiple peer-review publications and scientific reports, as well as authoring several manuscripts and blog posts as first author.
Science Communication
Sam has a variety of experiences in science communication, from curriculum development to art shows. Sam has overhauled the webpresence of multiple academics and non-profits. She has also developed and delivered science curriculum for all levels, from elementary ages to post-secondary students.
